Open Invitation

The South Atlantic Shrine Ritualistic Cast Association (SASRCA) is writing to invite you and your Ritualistic members within your Temple to participate in the SASRCA and to

compete in our annual competition related to our Shrine Ritual.

The SASRCA meets twice each year.  Both meetings coincide with the established SASA meetings each year.

In September we meet for our annual business meeting, competition, banquet awards and installation of officers. Our September meeting is divided in two parts:

on Thursday afternoon we meet for our business meeting and competition, and Friday evening we have our banquet, awards presentations, and installation of

officers for the incoming year.  Our meetings last approximately an hour and our banquet awards and installation approximately an hour and a half and our meeting

times are noted within the SASA Program Book.   We meet again for an informal business meeting in March of each year to conclude the business from our September

meeting and to select our ritual competition for September.

The South Atlantic Shrine Association (SASA) consists of 18 Temples and soon to be 19 temples as Kosair applies to become the youngest member Temple of SASA.

Currently we have 6-7 Temples that regularly attend and compete each year.

Each Shrine Temple, within SASA, performs some Ritual relating to bringing new Shiners to Shrinedom.  The SASRCA has no intentions or objectives to alter the

way your Temple performs these rituals within your individual Temple.  However we do offer an abundance of fellowship; encourage each Temple to participate

in our Ritual competition each year; offer a great deal of friendship and jollity; and we believe our banquet and awards evening is one of the best you could attend.

We also understand that many people throughout SASA wear many hats, as an example those who are active within their Ritualistic Divans, others hold offices

in various segments of our Fraternity, and those that have personal and professional commitments outside of the Shrine.

We would like to have more Temples be active within the Ritualistic Cast Association and hope that you will consider attending our meeting and competition in

September.  We will be most happy to talk to your Ritualistic Divan or Cast about our Association.  I have provided a list of our current line officers

which includes phone numbers and email addresses for your reference.

Please contact me or any of our elected officers for 2007 should you have any questions.  We look forward to seeing you in September.

Yours in the faith;

Jack Cooke, Secretary

South Atlantic Shrine Ritualistic Cast Association
