Pink ruby grass is a small, cool-season grass from S. Africa that forms a 1 foot tall clump. In the fall the foliage turns purplish-red. The showy white-pink flowers bloom a foot above the foliage in the spring and summer. Best in full sun with regular water but tolerates considerable dryness. Annual in zones 4-6.
