Description: Heavily variegated fine grassy foliage.  Each leaf has margins of bright white and rich blue-green striping that run vertical through the center of the blade.  It is grown primarily as a groundcover and a bedding plant in the foreground of perennial borders.  The foliage feels soft to the touch.  Where the grass meets the roots, onion like tubers appear, hence the common name Onion Couch.
